Van West Cooling is a Dutch engineering and manufacturing company specialized in the development and series production of tailor-made cooling systems. We design and build solutions that combine technical precision, repeatability, and long-term reliability — optimized for each customer’s application and environment. Every system we produce is the result of close collaboration between our engineers and the customer’s technical team. This ensures that each design performs perfectly in the customer’s product or process — and is developed to be efficiently produced in series and easily installed.
With decades of experience in refrigeration design and production, Van West Cooling has built a reputation for delivering custom systems that meet the highest professional standards. We work with OEM manufacturers, equipment builders, and integrators who value a partner that understands both engineering and production. Our focus lies on systems up to approximately 2 kW cooling capacity, serving sectors such as food & beverage, retail, industrial process cooling, and special-purpose machinery. All design, assembly, and testing take place at our facility in the Netherlands, where we maintain complete control over quality and documentation.
Each project begins with clear technical requirements, defined together with the customer. Our engineers analyse thermal loads, operating conditions, and integration requirements to develop a system that performs optimally in its specific use case — while being practical to assemble, service, and scale in production. Every unit is tested, verified, and documented before release for manufacturing. Our serial production ranges from small series of 50 units to larger runs of 5,000 units per year, combining flexibility with consistency. This integrated engineering-to-production approach ensures efficiency, reliability, and consistency across all series.
